RESERVATION SYSTEM
Definitions -

Reservation A reservation is an actual tee time reserved by phone after 5PM within 3 days of play.

Request

A request is not a guarantee of a tee time. A request puts your group into the system to possibly attain a tee time for a certain day. Although you will receive a confirmation number, this is not a guarantee that your group will get a time. You will need this confirmation number to see if your group did receive a tee time after the system has made the placement.

Tee Time Example Sat       Sun       Mon       Tues       Wed       Thurs       Fri        Sat
X        RES      RES       REQ       REQ       REQ       REQ      REQ

Today is Saturday. You can make a tee time REQUEST for any day, Wednesday through next Saturday. Prior to 3PM, you can make a REQUEST for Tuesday.

You can make a RESERVATION for Sunday or Monday, if there are tee times available.

You can make a RESERVATION for today, Saturday, if there are times available, by call the Pro Shop.

A RESERVATION guarantees a tee time.

A REQUEST will be placed by the system at 3PM, 3 days prior to play. By 5PM, 3 days prior to play, you can check with the system to review your placement status.

Turtle Status

If a group is twenty minutes or more behind the group in front of them after 9 holes, the entire group will be issued a warning for slow play. A second violation will result in a warning and a 2 point penalty per flayer. A third violation results in the players receiving "Turtle Status." This status limits the players from playing before 12:00PM

Points

Tee time requests are placed according to a group's point average and their requested tee time. The system will add all of the resident members' points for the group, that they have accumulated over the past 30 days, and divide that number by the number of players in the group to arrive at the group's point average.
  Example -
  Group A: Player 1 = 4 pts
               Player 2 = 6 pts
               Player 3 = 6.5 pts
               Player 4 = 10.5 pts

Group B: Player 1 = 7 pts
              Player 2 = 8 pts

  Group A: 26.8 pts divided by 4 players = 6.7 points
  Group B: 15 pts divided by 2 players = 7.5 point average
Both groups requested the same tee time. Group A would be awarded the tee time. Group B would be moved to the next closet tee time and compete similarly against other groups for that tee time.

Point Distribution

Every time a player makes a request or a reservation, they will receive points.

18 hole play before 2PM          =  1 pt
18 hole play after 2pm              =  0 pts
9 hole play                              = .5 pts
Tournament play                       = 2 pts

Players will receive point credits of .1 pts for each 60 minute difference between their requested tee time and the time they received. For example, if a player requests an 8AM time for 18 hole play and receives a 10AM time, the player will receive .8 pts.

Any resident member playing in a non-resident tee time will receive 1 point for play before 2 PM.

The point accumulation will be based on a rolling 30 day period. For example, if a player receives points on April 1, the player can accumulate points through April 30. On May 1, any points the player received for April 1 disappear.

Penalty Points Any player who has a tee time and does not show up without canceling will receive 10 point penalty.

Any group that shows up the day of play with different players than the players that were listed for the tee time will receive a 10 point penalty per player.

The penalty for slow play ("Turtle Status") will be as follows:
First Violation            = Written Warning
Second Violation       = Written Warning and 2 point penalty for the entire group
Third Violation            = Entire group receives "Turtle Status"
Additional Violations   = 2 point penalty
