Directors Message:

On behalf of our entire staff I would like to thank all our customers who came to Cranberry Valley this season.  We are looking forward to a great start of a new decade and another great golf season.  We hope that next Spring will bring better weather than we had last year. We had more rain last spring than many of us could take, so we feel that our weather luck must change!  It is also time to check our web site for information about our year to come.  Next year’s Membership packets are now available, as well as our tournament and maintenance schedule.

This off season we are losing one of our longtime employees; Alan Smith is retiring as our Assistant Superintendent.  Alan has worked for the Town of Harwich for more than 35 years and has been a valuable member of our staff and will be missed in many ways.  Alan was involved in every aspect of our course from initial course development in 1974 through the recent renovations.  We hope he and his wife, Kathy, enjoy the start of a new journey in retirement together.  Maybe we will see Alan on the golf course as a player instead of caretaker.
